Youth Ministry

Confirmation

Students meet regularly during the school year on Wednesdays while they are in 7th & 8th grade. Our confirmation minitstry is called Here We Stand. Our hope is not only to give the youth an opportunity to learn about the faith, but to also give them opportunities to take that knowledge to heart and live it out in their daily lives. Here We Stand classes are held Wednesdays, September thru May, for grades 7 and 8 with the Rite of Confirmation held in the fall of the students 9th grade year.

Pathways Bible Camps

All 6th graders at Grace have the opportunity to attend bible camp at Camp Emmaus which is part of the Pathways Bible Camp organization and Grace Lutheran pays for that week of fun, fellowship, and learning about our faith. But youth can attend at any age through their High School years. For youth who are not in 6th grade, we do have scholarship money available to assist in paying for your week of camp. Just contact Brenda at church for more information about camp and scholarships. Also, for more information on Pathways bible camps you can visit their website at www.pathwaysbiblecamps.com.

Junior High

During the Summer and throughout the school year we have many opportunities for fellowship and learning for our Junior High age youth. Fundraising activities for Mission Trips and activities take place throughout the year.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Throughout the year there are also fundraisers, weekend youth gatherings, special activities, and other ways our 7th and 8th grade youth can be involved in the life of the church.
